2008 Fall Semester: September 22 - November 24 (MONDAYS)

 

Colonial offers one of the most effective personal witnessing training ministry called Evangelism Explosion.

Believers the world over have become equipped to share their faith naturally and with greater confidence through this proven training method.  This course will help remove the fears that are common to most of us, when we think of sharing our faith.

Training can also be taken for seminary credit with Shepherds

The Fall training semester is scheduled for Monday evenings @ 6:30-9:00pm, starting September 22.  Space is limited each semester for new participants. You may signup by registering online (below) or submitting an application to Outreach Ministries (lobby kiosk)

Overview of the EE training ministry:

  1. EE training requires a serious commitment for a 10 week training semester.

  2. New participants are matched with a certified trainer.

  3. Training includes classroom teaching of the EE method of witnessing, on-the-job training with a team (OJT), and weekly assignments.

  4. Each training session ends with teams returning to the classroom to report their opportunities for presenting the Gospel.

  5. Training materials are produced by EE International which include a textbook authored by Dr. D. James Kennedy, a training notebook with lecture outlines, memorization notepad and related materials.

  6. EE teams will train by going to the homes of recent church visitors, conducting questionnaires in the market place, and occasional cold calls.

  7. EE training will take place on Monday nights from 6:30-9:00 pm.

  8. Two EE training courses will be offered annually: Fall (September-November) & Spring (March-May)
