2006 Short-Term Mission Trips

 

 

 
Trip Levels

 

 Colonial has assigned a level of basic qualifications for each trip:

  Level 1

  • Believer in Jesus Christ who desires to grow in Christian walk

  • Active member of Colonial (or regularly attends)

  • Teachable spirit

  Level 2 (building on level 1)

  • Evidence growth in your Christian walk

  • Currently involved in Colonial’s ministry and outreach

  • Display faithfulness to the Lord

  • Evidence emotional and spiritual maturity

  • Show ability to raise personal support on previous trip(s)

  Level 3 (building on level 2)

  • Maturity in walk evidenced in the areas of discipleship, ministry and outreach

  • Skills and spiritual gifting match trip objectives

  • Previous short-term missions experience

  • Past level of commitment to raising personal support and team involvement

  • Potential future ministry focus

  • Strong recommendation from a pastor or ministry leader
