Trip Details:
KENYA (3)
Ministry Location: Choimim (western Kenya)
Host Ministry: Community Baptist Church
Trip Dates: July 5-14
Trip Director: Damon Davenport
Estimated Cost: $2,600
Trip Objective: To assist the outreach and discipleship efforts of
Community Baptist Church.
Project Summary: The team will focus on outreach to neighboring
villages to Choimim for church planting efforts. The team will also minister with the children of the
Noel Academy and Orphanage home of the Build
The Village ministry.
COLORADO (1)
Ministry Location: Inner city of Denver, Colorado
Host Ministry: Providence Bible Church
Trip Dates: July 8-15
Trip Director: Aaron Miller & Nik Lingle
Estimated Cost: $900
Trip Objective: To assist and serve Providence Ministries in the
planting of Providence Bible Church in downtown Denver, Colorado
Project Summary: The team will be involved in a variety of different
ministries from serving the homeless and hurting
to learning the beliefs of Islam from a practicing
Muslim. Other ministry opportunities may include
evangelism, prison ministry, college Bible study,
and acts of kindness to those living in the city. We
may also have the opportunity to conduct a family
fair and concert in the center of downtown
Denver.
MOLDOVA (3)
Ministry Location: Cahul (southern Moldova)
Host Ministry: Emanuel Baptist Church
Trip Dates: July 11-20
Trip Director: Greg Burton
Estimated Cost: $1,800
Trip Objective: To assist, encourage, and edify an energetic
church in the city of Cahul to reach its neighbors with the Gospel.
Project Summary: Outreach trip to extremely poor communist
nation of Moldova to support a vibrant local
church in the city of Cahul. Trip may include
sports outreach, youth leadership training,
conversational outreach in city center, as well
as youth and adult bible teaching.
SCOTLAND (2)
Ministry Location: Newmilns & Stevenston (near Glasgow)
Host Ministries: Loudon Church and High Kirk Church
Trip Dates: July 17-29
Trip Director: David Williams
Trip Leaders: Wayne Knowles(white) & David Loftis(blue)
Estimated Cost: $2,000
Trip Objective: To assist two Scottish churches with training,
evangelism and discipleship.
Project Summary: The team will focus on the urgent needs of two
churches near Glasgow, Scotland. Both churches
have strong pastors and strong pulpits, but need
assistance in the following areas:
* Weekday children's ministry (like VBS), outreach in the local community, music ministry, including the possibility of a
park concert to attract families, and sports oriented ministry – like an American
football clinic; Leadership & evangelism training, marriage seminars, and music enrichment and testimonies
CANADA (1)
Ministry Location: Pincher Creek, Alberta
Host Ministry: Gladstone Mountain Gathering Grounds
Trip Dates: August 23-30
Trip Director: Vic Watford
Estimated Cost: $1,500
Trip Objective: For ministry and fellowship with First Nations
People from the local reserve and Mt Currie while
working though a construction project
Project Summary: Team will join Colonial missionaries, Don &
Mary Dehart, and their team from Mt. Currie and
Kamloops at the Gladstone Mountain Gathering
Grounds. We will work on construction projects
side by side with our native brothers and sisters.
This gives us a fantastic opportunity to share our
faith one on one.
These are beautiful people in a beautiful land; yet,
like us, without Christ they have no hope. This trip
is for the young and old. Bring a strong back and
a stronger heart, willing to share your faith, and
don’t mind hard work.
Application Process
Steps to Apply:
- Pray for the Lord’s clear direction for an area of service
- Contact the Trip Director for more information on Mission Project
- Complete the Application and Medical Consent
- Review the STM Involvement Policy (full version online)
- Sign the Application agreeing to the terms of commitment and service
- Return packet with application fee to Outreach Ministries by deadline
- Deadline & Fee: February 3/ $50

Selection Process:
- Upon submission of an application, contact the Trip Director to set-up a personal interview
- Following the interview, Trip Director will notify the applicant of his/her acceptance
- Upon acceptance, applicant must commit to the training set by the Trip Director
Trip Qualifications:
- Believer in Christ and growing in Christian walk
- Actively serving at Colonial
Level 2 Trip (domestic/international)
- Evidence spiritual maturity and leadership
Level 3 Trip (international)
- Evidence ability and understanding to serve cross-culturally
