Greetings from Outreach Ministries,
In the time that I have spent serving in Outreach Ministries, it has been a ministry goal to build the passion for Christ in our church body through local and foreign missions. Our approach to planning Outreach Projects acknowledges that missions can be an effective tool in accomplishing this ministry goal. Colonial seeks to identify projects that will bless people groups, churches and communities through local, regional and foreign endeavors. The 2012 lineup provides service opportunities for a variety of ages and includes family opportunities as well. We hope you will prayerfully consider joining us in answering God’s command to make disciples of every nation!

Outreach Ministries Short Term Missions |
The Outreach Ministry goals for Short Term Missions are to effectively share Christ’s love and His message with those to whom we minister, and to provide opportunities for those serving to see God at work in and through their ministry endeavors. A primary objective is that individuals discover a growing passion for Christ and for the Gospel through their planning, preparation and participation.

The number of environmental crises in our state and region seem to be on the increase. Hurricanes, tornadoes and floods have caused great damage, discomfort, injury and even death for large numbers of people.
Colonial would like to have a registry of members and regular attendees that would consider deploying to impacted areas on short notice. When a crisis occurs, we'd notify those in the registry of opportunities to provide one to seven days of assistance in the affected area. |
